I’m a music producer, mixing engineer, musician, and electronic artist originally from Rosario, Argentina, currently based in Cancún, Mexico. My career spans more than three decades, beginning as a co-founder of the Latin rock band Vilma Palma e Vampiros and continuing through my work in music production, recording, mixing, and immersive audio.

Under my electronic project, Pink Zeller, I create cinematic and experimental electronic music through modular synthesis, analog and digital instruments, generative sequencing, and immersive sound design. My music is atmospheric, emotional, and concept-driven, often exploring the relationship between technology, human consciousness, time, and digital identity.

I do not currently perform live. Most of my creative work takes place in what I call my laboratory: Mammoth Cave Mix Room, my professional recording and mixing studio in Cancún. It is where I compose, experiment with modular systems, record, produce, and mix music in both stereo and Dolby Atmos.

For me, the studio is more than a workplace. It is a space for experimentation, research, and discovery, where technology becomes a creative instrument and every new sound can lead to an unexpected musical idea.

My setup is centered around my studio, Mammoth Cave Mix Room, which I consider both a professional production environment and a creative laboratory. It combines a hybrid recording and mixing workflow with a constantly evolving modular synthesizer system.

The modular system is where most ideas begin. I use sequencers, generative tools, analog synthesis, and controlled randomness to discover musical ideas that I later develop inside the computer. My workflow is based on exploration rather than repetition, allowing unexpected results to become part of the creative process.

One of the most important aspects of my workflow is synchronization. I work across Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro while integrating modular synthesizers, MIDI hardware, and analog instruments. To keep everything perfectly locked together, I rely on the Missing Link ML:2M and The Missing Link ecosystem, which provide rock-solid MIDI clock and timing. Having reliable synchronization without MIDI jitter allows me to focus entirely on creativity instead of troubleshooting technical issues.

The studio also includes professional monitoring, immersive Dolby Atmos capabilities, and a production environment where composition, recording, sound design, mixing, and mastering all come together. I enjoy combining hardware and software in a way that keeps the process inspiring while remaining technically precise. Every new tool becomes another opportunity to experiment, learn, and push the boundaries of sound.

As my studio grew, synchronization became one of my biggest challenges. I work with modular synthesizers, hardware sequencers, MIDI instruments, and multiple DAWs—including Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro. Keeping everything perfectly synchronized without timing inconsistencies or MIDI jitter became essential.

Before discovering The Missing Link, I spent a long time searching for a solution. I invested in several high-quality MIDI interfaces, expecting them to solve the problem, but I still found myself spending hours editing recordings because of timing drift and MIDI jitter. It became frustrating because I was dedicating more time to fixing performances than creating music.

After a lot of research, I decided to buy the ML:2M. The first time I synchronized my entire studio through it, I honestly couldn’t believe the result. Everything was suddenly locked together with a level of stability I hadn’t experienced before. From that moment on, I was able to stop worrying about endless timing corrections and focus entirely on the creative side of making music.

As my setup continued to expand with more hardware instruments and sequencers, I added The Missing Link to my workflow. Using Ableton Link over Wi-Fi together with its dedicated MIDI output, I can distribute an incredibly stable clock throughout my entire system, including my OXI One and the rest of my hardware ecosystem. What started as a solution to a technical problem ultimately transformed the way I create. Today, my entire studio behaves like one integrated instrument, allowing me to experiment freely without ever thinking about synchronization.
